This site has been set up to provide you with information about a new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol, set to the music of Sir Arthur Sullivan, and based on the lyrics of W S Gilbert.

The work is available for amateur and professional production.  It was specifically written to provide an alternative, traditional version of A Christmas Carol, aimed at musical and dramatic societies whose repertoire includes the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.  The show takes its inspiration from the original text, and draws on the wealth of characters that people Dickens' world; from the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge to the Ghost of Jacob Marley, the Cratchit family, Tiny Tim, Mr and Mrs Fezziwig, and of course the three spirits who bring about Scrooge's conversion.
